There are many companies that claim to get your site submitted to all the major search engines for a one-time flat fee. Simply having your web site submitted to the search engines in no way assures that you will be found. We know, for a fact that this approach does not work and as matter of fact, it is just throwing your money to the wind.

To get the results for our clients that we do requires an extensive review of our client's Web Site and a professional "Search Engine Optimization" of both the content and the HTML (the coding that the Search Engine Spiders review in their ranking decisions) on Index page of the Web Site.

Next, the Web Site needs to be "selectively" submitted to the major Search Engines through the "paths" that will result in the highest possible ranking of the Web Site based on the keyword searches that will result in the highest volume of additional traffic to their Web Site.
This needs to be done on a precise schedule that is different for each Search Engine. Submitting at the wrong time, or too often, will have little effect on getting a Web Site to rank at the top of any Search Engine Directory. In fact, improper submissions can and often do result in getting Web Sites banned from indexing by some of the major Search Engines.

Next, we need to monitor the client's Web Site carefully, as the Search Engine "indexing" process takes place. This usually involves making regular, slight modifications to the optimization of the Web Site. This is critical as the different Search Engines are constantly changing their "ranking criteria."
